Returns and Refunds

You can return goods for any reason within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. If you wish to return an item to us you need to send an email to returns@lamagia.co.uk providing the following details:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason(s) for return

We do not accept unauthorised returns so please ensure you follow the process above. We will reply quickly, with full instructions on how to return the item(s). Please wait for our reply before sending goods back to us.

Please note: Goods are not available 'on approval'. If you are unsure of sizing please contact us by email before placing your order and please make your choice carefully as returns are very expensive for us.

Where goods are found to be faulty we will reimburse the cost of return postage, where goods are not faulty you will be responsible for the return shipping and packing costs.

Christmas 2008 Returns Policy

We have extended the returns period for orders placed from 1 November 2008 to 22 December 2008. Items can be returned to us up to 14 January 2009. The exceptions below still apply to these orders.

Please note the following exceptions to our returns policy:

  • Where the item is returned to us in a used condition we will not issue a refund. Any items that have been worn, washed, marked, affected by odours including cigarette smoke or had any tags removed are non-returnable. Please leave all tags in place until you are sure the garment fits.
  • All bespoke corsets are non-returnable as they are made to a specific customer's specifications. Furthermore, notification to cancel the order must be given within 24 hours of placing the order, before work starts on the item.
  • Some made to order items are non-returnable unless faulty, these items are clearly marked as non-returnable on the product pages.
  • Hosiery items (stockings and tights) are non-returnable unless the packaging is unopened and intact.
  • Items purchased with a credit note or voucher may only be returned in exchange for a credit note to the value of the total sale price paid by the customer.

We urge all customers to make sure they measure themselves carefully following our measuring guide, and would ask you to contact us for any guidance or advice.

La Magia cannot accept responsibility for the damage or loss of packages or products sent back to us by a customer so we recommend that you opt for recorded or special delivery and retain your proof of postage and tracking details. Please ensure all parcels are clearly labelled and securely sealed before posting.

We take so much care when packing your order, please take the same care when returning your items to us by folding garments neatly to avoid unnecessary creasing which can cause irreparable damage to some fabrics.

* The date of receipt is defined as the date the item arrived at your requested delivery address. To clarify, if you are unavailable to take delivery of the item and the parcel is taken to your local sorting office for collection, the 14-day period commences from the original day delivery was attempted.

Returns from overseas customers

All payments are taken in pound sterling, if the exchange rate changes between the date of purchase and the date of refund, you will see a discrepancy in the amount refunded. This is governed by the banks and totally beyond our control, and may result in you being refunded more or less than you originally paid.

Returns of items from outside the EU

Any taxes or customs charges brought about by the return of items from outside the EU will be payable by the customer and deducted from the total amount refunded. These charges can be avoided by writing "Ladies undergarment - Return" and noting a value of zero on the customs declaration. Full guidance will be given on receipt of an overseas return request.
